BetVictor came to me and Mr President with a bit of a problem, and a massive result. Their brand identity of being, “your best bet,” for the more serious gambler was working with customers but their ads just couldn’t stand up to the rest of the shouty, laddy, pie fingery (see Lottoland) stuff that their competition was doing. They did however, have newly crowned King of the Jungle, come window wheeler dealer, Harry Redknapp onboard for their next campaign. My idea was, “Hey Harry,” putting Harry’s betting expertise into a new smart assistant that was utterly terrible at giving you advice but loved to spin a yarn and always gave you your best bet.
